Evening all!
Has anybody watched the T.V series “Who Do You Think You Are” on BBC One? After watching the programme featuring Welsh actor and comedian Griff Rhys-Jones (below) last week, I decided to delve into my own past and relations.
I have wanted to research for a few months now, but because I come from a big family I found the prospect a bit daunting. I have always been interested in genealogy, but didn’t know where to start. I do not know much about my father’s side of the family, so I hope to find out more while conducting this investigation.
I’ve not found any famous relations yet, unfortunately, lots of deceased relations, though! Wish me luck; I think I am going to need it!
On to other stuff... I'm really excited! Series Three of "Prison Break" begins tonight on Sky One! *happy dance*
Hope you all had a good weekend.

Leigh I do wish you luck ~ I love that programme ~ I hope you find a lot of famous people in your family ~ I didn't find any in my own but it was all very interesting to do ~ Ally
Hi there Leigh, I've worked on my genealogy off and on for some time. I found a couple years ago that I'm actually distantly related to Ally's grandson. If you want to get even semi serious on this fascinating hobby, get a copy of the "Family Tree Maker" program for your computer. It makes it all so much easier. Have fun, Linda in Washington state
